May Day Walk: 3 hours

About the Event
I will guide you on a 3-hour immersive, meditative, and therapeutic forest walk based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. We will slow down and connect with our senses to the healing, stress-reducing beauty of a little-known hidden corner of the Twin Cities. We will slip away from our phones and revive our relationship with the forest and ourselves via unique invitations. We will share what we notice, incorporating our experiences into our memory to tap when we may need them. We will re-enter the tame world, renewed with the gift of nature that can be enjoyed time and again.
Guests should wear masks, hiking boots/shoes, clothing/gear appropriate for weather. Walk will still be held in rain/snow, but not negative temperatures nor thunderstorms. Please bring your own water/snacks (if desired).
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to walk. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the immersive nature of the program. Please leave mobile phones in car for duration of walk.
Social Distancing guidelines of 6+ feet will be upheld. Max. group size will be limited to 14 participants. Min. is 4 participants.
